Not only organic apples can develop their full taste in the vacuum-dry-freeze, but any fruit there is. We also process organically grown strawberries, oranges, lemon, pineapple, banana, raspberry, kiwi and especially aronia.

I have done someting new and have vacuum-dry-frozen it, ground it to powder and filled it into jars. You can add it to natural yoghurt, muesli, curd or drinks. Our apples come from controlled organic cultivation, grown naturally and certified by the IMO institute (DE-005- eco-control) You may receive our apples of different types at our farm priced from 2.00€/kilo. We welcome you at the apple-paradise Winklhof. We offer professional advice about apples, aronia berry, soil vitalising and all out products.

Our organic apples are processed in our own novel vacuum - drying plant. The apple slices are gently dried without the use of heat or additives to keep the vitamins, secondary plant compounds, minerals, color and especially the taste. It will inspire your taste-buds.

The fruit-mix is composed of 80% apple-slices and 20% sliced bananas, oranges, kiwi as well as strawberries, plums and more fruits of the season. All are organically grown and freshly processed in our vacuum-drying plant.

The removed carpel consists of the most vital components of the fruit and therefore is the quinessence of the apple. We recommend to add the apple-carpel-powder to your muesli or cereals, yoghurt, curd, desserts and drinks.
The aroma is fruity, sweet/acetous. The taste reminds one of almonds.

G´sund und Munter is a mix of ground apple slices, apple carpel, ground energy - power - crusties, ground aroniaberries and ground raspberries, all organic, of course.
The crimson energy of the aronia appleberry in combination with the high-grade components of apples, raspberries and aronia berries can have a vitalising and performance-enhancing effect. The aroma is very fruity/sweet.

In the farm's own vacuum - drying plant the apples are dried in a novel mode, afterwards imbued into Aronio direct juice and lyophilized for a second time. The crimson energy of the Aronia apple berry coppled to the premium components of the bio apples act vitalising and energy proving. The aroma is fruity/sweet/acetous.

Aroniaberries, also called black apple berries are a dark red fruit with a high percentage of useful secondary plant compounds, especially Anthocyanes. These active agents can contibute to your health. The berry originated in North America where it has been used as a natural drug by the indegenious population.
The Institute of Cell-biological Test Systems certified that the Winklhof Aronia Directjuice has proven ist high effectiveness and is recommended as a prophylactic and acute measure to reduce the reactive oxygen radicals in the body. Recommendation: drink 60ml - 100ml of  Aronia direct juice mixed with 0.5ltr. - 1 ltr. Natural water per day. Keep cool after opening.

The 10% portion of Aronia multiplies the antioxidativie effiency of the applejuice.

Our apples are freshly squeezed to 100% directjuice. The only ingrediences are the apple´s own flavor and the fruity water that has been built up during ripening. It is undiluted and intensive in taste.

The aroniaberry, also called apple berry, is originally from Northern America.
Besides other berries it is distinguished by its unique richness of bioactive substances which conducive to  the maintenance of health and the physical and sensual vitality.
Because of its constitutional effects the aroniaberry has been deployed in Russia and Poland as a medical plant.

In an expert's report (march 2nd, 2007) Prof. Dartsch certifies that the Winklhof  Aroniajuice was tested for anti-inflammatory and ant-ioxidative effects. Result: The Winklhof Aronia juice has proven its high effectivity and can be recommended as preventative and acute method to reduce the physical exposure to the body by reactive oxygen radicals.

The utilization of fruit growing of  non-hybridised bosk
The non-hybridised Aronia melanocarpa appears as a shrub of 2 - 3 meters high and broad. It renews itself steadily with tillers and out of the basic area hemopoietic new sprouts.
The sprouts are relatively thin and lightly nutrant. The leafs are ovaliform acuminated, marginal precison sawn, with cuneiform leaf basic and they taste coriaceous.

Cistus incanus ssp. Tauricus the grey haired Cistrose is a 1 meter high aromatic smelling shrub with lancet shaped leaves and pink blossoms. The history of this medical plant can be traced back to 400BC. At that time the resin was exported to Egypt and Sudan, where it was used against bacterial- and fungal contamination.
Since then Cistrose is also used as a liquid extract and as tea (for indulgence and medical treatment). The leaves and twigs are stirred in boiling water for five minutes. The essence is applied to open wounds to prevent bacterial infections. The therapeutical benefit of Cistrose is attributed to the high content of Polyphenolen. Form a chemical point of view Polyphenols are aromatic connections with hydroxyl groups: They are part of the phytochemicals. Natural polyphenols are to be found in plants as bioactive substances like colorimeters, gustatory substances and tannic acids. As scientific studies in former times have proven polyphenols amongst other things work anti-inflammatory and cancer preventive; especially the flavonoids and athocyanes guard body cells from free radicals and oxidative stress.

Boil a  handful of Winklhof Cistrose tee (~10grams) in 100-200 ml of water for 5 minutes, cool it down and filter it to remove the aerial parts. The fluid can be kept fresh for two days when refrigerated.

Tea for indulgence
Prepare like black tea: pour 200ml of boiling water over 1 teaspoon Winklhof Cistrose tea. Do not steep for more then 5 minutes or the tea will taste bitter.

Internal applications
Tonsillitis and inflammation of the mouth and pharynx: gurgle 3 - 5 times daily
Paradonitis, Gingivitis, karies prophylaxis: gurgle 3 - 5 times daily
Acne vulgaris, stomach- and intestinal mucosa: several cups daily as indulgance tea.

External applications
Haemorrhoids, Decubitus, bacterial inflammation of genital mucosa: dilute decoction 1:10, sitz baths 1 - 3 times daily.
Acne vulgaris: washings with a hard sponge.
Neurodermatidis, diaper rash, desinfection of wounds: careful washings and air dry (!).

The extraction may cause dark spots on clothing and other objects.
